Week 15:Dragon Boat Festival

This Monday was Dragon Boat Festival! When I was little Dragon Boat Festival was always my favorite because at that day my mom always took me to the traditional market and bought some cuisine to worship my ancestors and sometimes we even made sachets on our own. At the noon, after worshiping the ancestors, we were used to stand eggs at the terrace and my sister and I always had a contest on it.
However, since my sister was preparing for the upcoming college entrance exam and I was busy in doing piles of reports, we didn't celebrate the holiday this year. And it made me  felt a little bit. However, at the night of the Dragon Boat Festival this year, all my family sat together to eat delicious rice dumplings made by my aunts which was also let my a lovely memory.

  1. Hi Claire! This seems like a nice holiday memory. The best part about your blog is that it is consistent in writing 15 minutes per week. Some entries appear a little short, such as 3/23 and 5/25, so try to push yourself to write more in the 15 minutes that you have. Your topics seemed interesting, but I am especially impressed with your posts on Akeelah and the Bee. My main suggestion would be to add some photos to your posts to "decorate" your blog, but you gave a good effort overall.
